Superstitious Gyan allows Muntari to lead

Superstition influenced Black Stars Captain, Asamoah Gyan’s decision to hand his arm band to returning, Sulley Muntari in a crucial World Cup qualifier with Sudan played at the Garden City on Sunday.

After thumbing the Sudanese 4-0 to close the gap between Ghana and Group D leaders, Zambia to one, Gyan said the decision to allow the AC Milan star to captain the team was influenced by superstition.
