Ghana players hit form ahead of Sudan game

Ghana players invited for Sunday’s World Cup qualifier against Sudan have hit top form ahead of their arrival in the country from today for the match in Kumasi.

Several players invited by coach Kwesi Appiah for the match were prominent in action for their clubs in Europe just hours before they arrive in Accra to prepare for the crucial game.

Sweden-based striker David Accam, who will be joining the Black Stars for the first time, was the toast of fans in Helsingborg fans after scoring twice in their 3-1 win over Gefle in the Swedish Cup game.
