Inter Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari says he is getting back to full fitness after picking up a knee injury last month on international duty.
The 27-year-old has been out of action for the past two weeks after he suffered the injury in Ghana’s 2-1 win over Gabon in a friendly in Paris.
The ex-Portsmouth player has made serious progress on the road to recovery and is optimistic he will recover in time to help struggling Inter Milan.
“My recovery from my knee injury is all on track. I’m almost back to full fitness and it feels great,” Muntari said.
“The doctors have been fantastic and I am responding well to therapy.
“Thanks again for all your well wishes; it’s nice to know people are rooting for me out there.”
